The three sisters behind YourCOOLhome in their New Orleans workshop

YourCOOLhome began with three sisters, a shared eye for design, and a family tradition of rolling up your sleeves and getting the job done.

Growing up in New Orleans shaped our style from the beginning. Surrounded by European-influenced architecture, historic homes, collected interiors, and the city’s unmistakably eclectic spirit, we learned that beautiful spaces do not have to follow one set of rules. The most memorable homes blend old and new, refined and unexpected, while reflecting the personalities of the people who live there.

We also spent our summers in our grandfather’s and great-grandfather’s mechanic shop, where we learned how things worked, how to fix what was broken, and how much pride comes from creating something with your own hands. Those early lessons still shape how we approach every project today: thoughtfully, creatively, and without being afraid to get a little dirty.

Our perspective expanded when the oldest sister spent two summers in Paris through an international business exchange program, bringing her sisters along for the experience. Surrounded by European architecture, art, interiors, and effortless everyday style, we discovered even more inspiration for the eclectic aesthetic that began at home in New Orleans. Those experiences eventually led us toward careers in international business, interior design, and architecture.

Together, we started crafting pieces for our own homes, then for the homes of friends and family. What began as a creative outlet soon became real design work. After spending two years collaborating on major residential and commercial projects, including restaurants, women’s clothing boutiques, and offices, we knew it was time to create something of our own.

That’s how YourCOOLhome was born.

We created YourCOOLhome for people who want their spaces to feel personal, collected, and a little unexpected. Our selection blends botanical inspiration, European influence, New Orleans character, and thoughtful design to help you create a home that feels beautiful without feeling overly styled.

From a family mechanic shop to the streets of Paris and the creative spirit of New Orleans, our story has always been about making something special together, and helping others do the same in their own homes.
